Bulkington Netball Club currently runs 4 senior teams – in Premier Division, Division 1, Division 3 and Division 4, aswell as Junior teams in the following age groups: Under 12's, Under 13's, Under 14's and Under 16's. (Junior section currently welcoming any new players). The majority of our juniors being successfully integrated into Senior teams - and competing extremely well with the senior players! The Club benefits from experienced coaches in Sarah (level 2 qualified coach), Jackie (in the process of taking her level 3 qualification), and Annie (process of taking level 2 qualification). Aswell as having experienced and highly qualified umpires - Lynn currently undertaking her 'A' award (and who is also President of the Umpires Association)! (Update - Sarah and Annie have now passed their level 2 coaching qualification , Jackie continuing with her level 3! ...... Annie and Lisa are also hoping to take their umpiring B Award this year!) Several of our club members form part of the Coventry & Warwickshire League Committee (or sub committee) and as a club, the experience these individuals pass on is tremendous. Training takes place every Tuesday at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, 7pm - 9pm for Seniors. (Junior training times can be found on the Juniors page) The club has had great success over recent years, last seasons greatest success being the A Team securing 3rd place in the Premier division on the last game of the season! We hope to build on this success again this year, having attracted new, experienced players to the club. As well as this, Junior players continue to feed into the senior teams, providing vital support and excellent skills to the teams - providing great strength and depth for the clubs future!

A note from the Chairman.... Last Season
Season 2008/2008 was always going to be a significant challenge following the fabulous successes of the previous season. Starting the season with two of our teams in the Premier Division, the top flight of local league netball was very exciting but I think that were all fairly realistic about being able to keep both teams there come the end of the season. Despite our best efforts the B Team were unable to maintain a level of perfromance to keep them in the Premier Division and in our lower Teams we really struggled to be consistent enough to acheive the results we had all hoped for.
Fielding a consistant 7 players was a real challenge, particularly for our D Team last season and this season we are really hoping that we can get committment from everyone to take their role in their Team and the Club seriously.
Season 2008/2009
Looking forward to the coming season, we feel in a strong postion with our 4 teams all within the top 5 divisions. We feel postive that this year we can consolidate and better our performances, building on the great coaching we have been receiving from Sarah Wood and Jackie Brassington. Overall we are looking for committment from each and every player both in their ability to play each week and also in their support for their team and Bulkington Netball Club.
My Profile
I have been playing the great sport of netball since I was 10 years old. I practically lived for the game whilst I was at Nicholas Chamberlaine School, training every day and throughly enjoying the great coaching from the great Dorothy Naylor and playing alongside girls who were to become lifelong freinds.
I was a Centre Court player of fairly average ability as it happens and was probably more well known for the effort I put in than anything else. I started playing Local League Netball at 14 years old with Abbey Netball Club and moved to Bulkington Netball Club when I was 18 years old. I have been with Bulkington for 23 years with a couple of breaks along the way. Sadly I had to stop playing about 10 years ago following a ruptured cruciate ligament (ouch!), but am still heavily involved in umpiring. I am now working towards my A award. Being part of Bulkington Netball Club is a big part of my life. Girls come and go, but we are a dedicated Netball Club, we look after our girls, provide them with great coaching and above all encourage them to have fun.
