After a 'bye' the week previously, Bulkington A played Ernesford A (away match)- new comers to the Premier Division. They proved to be very difficult opponents. The Goalshooter was at the top of her game and we were very slow in firing up. We ended up losing the first half, but continued to plug away and gradually played ourselves back into the game. We scored 17 goals in an impressive third quarter and took the lead. Yvonne's shooting was impeccable, and there was an injection of speed in the attack - the game was won in this quarter... Ernesford continued to make life very difficult and battled in the fourth quarter, trying to regain their lead, however the A team remained strong and came through to win the game!
