The Highway A game was an 11am early start - at Highway ground. Unfortunately Laura got lost en route, which meant Jackie Brassington starting the game in her WD capacity. (Thanks very much!).

We started off confidently and took an early 5 goal lead in the first quarter. Laura took her place on court in the second quarter and the game continued with Highway starting to come back at us. Although we missed a couple of early goal opportunities, at half time we were still leading by 2 goals.

The second half brought more challenges, as Highway fought hard to come back at us and we struggled to adapt our game. This brought frustration to the team in general and an increase in unforced errors. The Highway shooting pair seemed to not miss, and although our attack fought hard, they found it difficult to get the ball through to goal.

After a long frustrating game, Highway were the eventual winners at 36 -32.
