Another cold game was ahead of the B team and many tired legs were on the court (from Saturdays excellent performance). Tracey still poorly and Laura and Courtney tired after there efforts of the previous game.

We took the court knowing they were in for a tough game. Alvis started out strongly and had managed to establish a strong 5 goal lead in the first quarter which had stretched to 7 by half time. The B team went into the third quarter with a stern telling off from Ali -determined to get this game back. The defence work their socks off and made some cracking interceptions, and despite some frustrating times managed to maintain there professionalism to make life very difficult for the Alvis attack.

Bulkington's attack worked hard and were closely marked, sometimes with barely room to breathe!! Katie and Tracey fed some lovely balls into Courtney, and SJ channelled her frustrations moving the ball around the circle and converting goals. We unfortunately lost by 1 goal however the team showed their strength and ability to fight back in the second half of the game. We learnt a valuable lesson that if we warm up properly then we are a match for anybody.
