The Henley gane was at home at 3pm in terrible rain. As the saying goes - it was a game of two halves!

We started very confidently with the team playing as a unit. SJ and Courtney were shooting very well and the defence were keeping Henley from making any impact. Laura was having a particularly good game. We took a good lead in the first quarter and were able to maintain that lead by half time.

In the second halt, Henley appeared to have adapted their game to close us down and we found it hard to respond. Their defence particularly seemed to prevent us from getting the ball into the circle and to our shooters, and also defended the post well. Although we tried hard, we eventually lost 32-28, which left the team even more frustrated as the last three losses have all been by 5 goals or less.

We know that with a few more games under our belts, we will be able to take on the world!!!!!
