After a short drive out into the country Bulkington B took the caught (apart from SJ who managed to get lost and didn't make the start of the game). Fortunately they had Jackie to step up and fill in at WD and Laura moved to GA.

The B team actually managed to warm up properly and were eager to get on court after watching Harbury's more laid back warm up. They played really well fulfilling the potential they had and Laura never looked out of place at GA - her and courtney worked well together, Jackie played excellently and slotted in well. At quarter time  with the score at 17 -8 they were pleased. With SJ arriving Laura returned to WD and SJ to GA.

In the second quarter they took the court full of confidence, the defence marked the attack hard, Sue and Mandie picked several of the loopy balls out and forcing the shooters to work hard for there positions and it proved prosperous only allowing 7 goals in, leaving them 17 goals ahead.

In the second half of the game Bulkington went from strength to strength, Laura and Katie picked up a lot of interceptions in the centre court and Harbury found it increasing difficult to get the ball past Bulkington hands. Tracey had a difficult player but kept her cool and her nerve and controlled the attack as she does so superbly.

Going into the final quarter 50 -23 Bulkington had a distinct target of 70 goals and all players put the full determination and effort into the game. Sue made lots of interceptions even if sometimes slightly unconventionally (!) Mandie marked her player out the game forcing her to come out of the circle in order to get the ball. Laura leaped and got loads of interceptions. Katie bounded up and down the court with renewed vigour. Tracey played her usual wise game and picked up a lot of Sue's tips and wild passes. SJ worked hard and shot magnificently and Courtney positioned herself well nipping in and out the circle like a gazelle -and popped the shots in!

The full time score was 69 - 27 although they didnt reach there target they played to their full potential. The B team needed a good confidence boost and they more than earned it.
