Due to the very wet weather that morning, Bulkington had to move from their home ground to play at Griff & Coton for the match - which luckily has a little shed which provided some shelter from the conditions! By the start of the game the rain has eased to almost nothing, so playing conditions thankfully were not too bad.

Bulkington knew from the outset that this game was going to be a hard one - and therefore were motivated right from the start, and set out to play well right from the first whistle. Jo was unable to play and therefore Rhian played at keeper - and played superbly! After the first quarter, Highway swapped their shooters, and brought on a player who did not know how to miss! However, Rhian marked her well, getting some fantastic interceptions.

Throughout the game Bulkington continued to get interceptions across the whole defence (well done Kim, Jackie and Amy!) - the hardest part of the game being in Bulkington attack. Highway put on a very strong defence, who read our game well. Lisa worked tirelessly around the circle edge to provide some great feeds into the circle.

Another great overall performance for the team - who now head into the Christmas break still undefeated. Here's hoping this record can be maintained in the new year.
