If the league table was to be believed this game was always set to be a close game, and it certainly was.

The team played in there usual positions with all eight players available. The first quarter left us trailing 6 goals to 10, but we started the 2nd quarter with a target to get closer by half time. We did just manage this but by only one goal, and at half time the score was 12 – 15 to Ambleside. 

The 3rd quarter saw us slip even further and it ended with us five goals behind. A strong team talk before the start of the 4th quarter, and the support provided by our supporters helped us make a final surge in the last quarter.

The game ended on a penalty shot with only seconds left on the clock. Fran (GS) opted to take it, but unfortunately despite accurate shooting during the game, missed the shot and left us ending the game one goal behind, with the final score 27 to 28 to Ambleside.
