Feels like writing a novel... On a bitterly cold,dark winters evening...the Bulkington 9 landed at Copsewood..  woolly hats,hot water bottles, gloves,scarfs etc and one player who look she had been 'tangoed'..... Mandi!!!!  ha ha.!!

 

Copsewood B's recent results suggested that this was going to be a close game. The quarter scores being 10 -7, 6 -8, 7-6 and 5-3 with Bulkington eventual winners at 28 - 24.

Thanks again to several members of the B team, Amy, Sue and Tracey who all played half a game and gave 100% -contributing to the A team win.

In the first quarter Bulkington were in command, however, Copsewood came out fighting in the second and took control. Team changes were made at half time - and by the end of the third quarter there was a 2 goal lead for Bulkington. 

Sarah and Jackie again on hand to give advice and positive encouragement sent the team out for the final quarter knowing what they had to do.  A couple of steals gave Bulkington what they needed - a four goal gap. The final whistle couldn't come soon enough.... the spectators were freezing.

Yvonne and Rosie used their experience and together with Tracey ( first half) Andrea and Amy (second half) worked their way around the tight Copsewood defence.

Sue - made some crucial interceptions in the second half - Abi had a storming first half.  

Amy too had a great half .. and as normal Andrea never stopped.

Mandi....feeling the cold - but, was good to have you back - Liz.... well.. maybe should stick to netball... no more sprinting.!!1
