The A Team somehow managed to start and finish the game with the same 7 players. Abi and Liz back from injury partnering Mandie at the back with Faye, Andrea, Yvonne and Rosie in attack.

At quarter time the team led by only 4 goals, but managed to increase that to 12 by half time - the defence took time to settle and weigh up the opposition.

By the third quarter it was 36 - 17, and with a 14 - 4 last quarter this gave the A team a comfortable victory.

Rosie and Yvonne scored at almost every opportunity, and together with the attack of Faye and Andrea, worked the ball around to get a better shooting position. Rosie dominated the circle from the start and gained confidence throughout the game. Yvonne and Abi produced some timely interceptions.

A good team performance that can now hopefully by built upon.

Thanks to the support from other club members and particularly to our reserves: Sue, Amy and Stacey who thankfully were not needed this week.

One has to add - we weren't sure if we played 60 mins of netball or 63 minutes and 15 seconds!!! The game ended twice as their was a difference of 3 minutes and 15 seconds in the stop watches!
