Was this performance one of Christmas Spirit or Bulkington Fighting spirit... the latter without doubt and, coupled with the fantastic support from the side the A team secured another 5 points which will maintain their current 5th position in the League.

The A team started with yet another changed line up due to Liz and Rose carrying injuries. This unquestionably had an effect on the game with the team taking time to adjust and settle.Henley B took control in the first quarter which primarily was attributed to the experience of Louise K and Veronica K along with the accurate shooting of Anita. 

The half time score was Bulkington 20 Henley B 23. A couple of team changes were made in order to unsettle Henley B.

This had the desired effect and Bulkington edged into a narrow lead at three quarter time 33-31.

Still with all to play for both teams took to the Court for the final quarter... a quarter where almost every Bulkington player made an interception.... the cheers got louder.. and when the final whistle was blown ...a sigh of relief could be heard around the Court ... Victory.

Credit to Henley B, whose current position in the league does not reflect how they played today.

Courtney playing at GS gave a confident and intelligent preformance throughout the game, her shooting today was a credit to her.
