The first game for such a while, coupled with the absence of two A team players meant that it was always going to take Bulkington A team a little while to settle. Synergy were their normal fiesty selves and maybe thought they had a chance to win this game due to the last game being so close.

Well at quarter time - they must have thought this was their day as they led by one goal .. 9 - 8 .Sarah spoke postively to the team at quarter time and through some excellent shooting and good determined defensive play by the whole team, they were 5 goals up at half time --20 -15 (12 - 6). 

Stacey played WD for the first half  and then Amy T took over for the second half - both players being required to play fof their own team afterwards.

In the third quarter Synergy fought back and pulled the deficit back to four . 28- 24.(8 -9).

This suggested the fourth quarter would be exciting and as the last game be decided at the very end, however, although Synergy scored first Bulkington then took control. Having finally worked out how to play the Synergy attack Amy S and Liz kept the shooters at bay - errors were forced with Bulkintgon gaining possession and the attack of Faye,Andrea, Rosie and Yvonne doing their job ensuring the ball found its way into the circle and a goal scored. Amy T secured some nice tips and before Bulkington knew it they ten goals ahead.

The game ended with Bulkington winning by 8 goals.
