With our 100% record (although it had only been two games!) we went into todays game knowing it would be very hard, but determined not to let that record drop.  And we didn't let ourselves down.
 
The first quarter started very nervously for both teams.  But as the quarter progressed Bulkington began to stride ahead and led 10-5 at quarter time.  Bulkington turned the ball over well, with some great tips and interceptions.  The attack; SJ, Sue, Jen and Tracey got a number of interceptions throughout the game giving Bulkington the slight advantage all the way.
 
In the last half Greyfriars ate away at Bulkingtons lead, and Bulkington found that any lose balls or dodgy passes were picked up by Greyfriars, especially their very tall GD (who moved to GA) who seemed to often appear from no-where!  Bulkington remained strong and with some great tight marking from the defence and some great tips and rebounds from Stace and Kim Bulkington held the lead and ended up with a well fought, win!
 
This game was always going to be tough, with Greyfriars new to division one after being relegated last season, but with Bulkington B looking more and more like a solid team every week, we all pulled together and held the lead!  Thanks sooo much to our supporters (Jackie, Andrea, Faye, Abs, Mandie, Liz, Stacies mum and sis, Traceys Family and Jens Family...phew!) your shouting and coaching helped us tremendously!
