An 11 o'clock start was not very popular with one particular member of the team (who shall remain nameless - according to the person preparing this report... but I am editing it and all I will say is Maggie May!) who had still not fully sobered up from the previous evenings antics!!

Swaying onto the court at five to eleven, with not even a warm up (Maggie)- just carrying a 'glow' from her retirement do, we all knew it was going to be a 'fun' game - particularly in the defence end! lol

The first quarter was a closely fought start which ended at 12 all. (This is all we have for the first quarter.... Maggie can't actually remember much more of the game than this!)

In the 2nd quarter we managed to pull away slightly despite some 'swinging' balls coming down the court. The attack worked hard to take advantage of all opportunities with some excellent feeds into Fran from all of the attack, and accurate shooting from both Fran and Kerrie. We managed to finish the 2nd quarter 26 - 21 up.

It was at this point that captain Kerrie made her decision to substitute the above mentioned 'swaying player' and young Mel came on court to provide a more sober replacement. Unfortunately that meant a bit of a juggle in the team with Mel coming on at WA, Lindsey moving to C, Lisa moving to WD and Jaks to GD.

The substitution was the turning point in the game, and the C team went from strength to strength (Jaks working her socks off with a taller GA!). The third quarter ended 35 - 29 in our favour.

The fourth quarter saw Bulkington moving ahead again, with some excellent sections of play and good team spirit. The game ended with a Bulkington win - 44-35. The whole team worked well together (especially considering most were playing out of position) - and guess who got players player.... correct - Rhian! (is it getting boring yet Rhian?)

Well done to the C team (and Maggie promises not to go out the night before again!)
