The C team were without Jo this week so Charlie and Mel stepped in to help out. It was so so cold but for some reason Lisa still insisted on playing in just her skirt and top, what is wrong with that women? Fran had been feeling unwell and she looked like Rhian had just hit her in the face, and her eyes were apparenty, "Freaking" Charlie out.  

The match started and both teams were fairly even, both teams shooting and defending well. Ambelside had their super nippy shooter out so Rhian was doing her best to delay her, which paid off. By the end of the first quarter we had pulled away, with Charlie, Jackie and Rizzla in defence proving to be a good combination. There was utter termoil and disgust at quarter time though when it was realised that the sweety box had been brought, empty. Shame on you!!!!!!

The second quarter started and Bulko began to pull away as Ambelside started making mistakes. However towards the end of the quarter ambelide had pulled it back to within five, so we had to step up our game. By half time we had secured a comfortable lead of ten.

Mel swapped on for Charlie and Fran and Rhian came up with a new defending technique of taking giant lunges waving their arms, sadly it wasn't put into practice.

In the thrid quarter Jackie was flying all over the place making interceptions and making it hard for the Ambleside attack. The Ambleside WD was giving Lindsey a competitive game - but the umpire had it covered! So after many warnings she gave Bulko a free shot right under the post for the WD's persistent contact. By the end of the quarter our lead had inreased slightly so no changes were made to the team.

In the fourth quarter the Ambleside attack swapped round but Jackie and Rhian were as successful as they had been before, making it very hard for Ambleside. Both Kerrie's and Fran's shooting was on target helping by the end of the game to have a 17 goal lead. The match ended Bulkington 44, Ambleside 27. Well played to everyone, Go Bulko!!!!
