The team arrived at the Rec ready after several players playing for other teams.  Alvis didnt arrive until ten to 3 so we weren't sure if they were going to turn up!

When we got started we realised that our team was playing better than them and so we converted the first two goals. The first quarter was obvious that both teams were just warming up therefore it ended 13-5 to Bulkington. At quarter time we all knew that we had the potential to gain a huge lead therefore were concentrating so much on the game we forgot to eat sweets!!! 

As the second quater started we pulled away further with some good passes into the circle from Emilie and Charlie and Tracey and Mel converting them. Their shooters (one was 65!!!) also found their form so the quarter ended 26-14.

At half time Tracey decided to change it, bringing her off and Dawn Formaston on at GS. Andrea set the team targets of the defence only conceding 3 and the attack scoring 15. Alvis also changed their defence swapping the GK and GD. This made it harder for Mel, but it didnt matter because Dawn was in great form. Angie and Amy stepped it up in the penultimate quarter with them only scoring four because of some great intrceptions and great passing down the court. The third quater ended 37-18.

In the break Andrea set us another target to reach 50 goals, so the pressure was on. The whole team was brilliant in the last quarter with Becky getting some fantastic interceptions and tips and Charlie eliminating their C from play and getting crucial interceptions (even though their centre said to Charlie "if you elbow me one more time you're going to regret it") Emilie put some fabulous balls into the circle and Mel and Dawn did their job and converted them.
 
Well played to the team, passing our target of 50 goals and stopping them form getting a point!
